Mary Louise ZellerCo-presenter of the Fenix Event, Mary Louise is a world-class coach, published author, seminar leader, motivational speaker, enthusiastic wife, mother and grandmother. Fluent in Spanish and an accomplished classical guitarist, Mary Louise has also trained and competed at an International level in Equestrienne Jumping.

Co-author of the book, 'The Secrets of The Fountain of Youth', Mary Louise has been featured on CBS Saturday Morning with Katie Couric, NBC’s U.S. Olympic Gold, Extra, CBS, NBC, and ABC News. She has been the focus of articles in numerous regional and national publications, including Sports Illustrated.

At 46 years of age, and being both out-of-shape as well as having to deal with the complexities of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Mary Louise launched head-on into the impossible, taking up full-contact martial arts.

Within two years she had won her first National Championship, and today she is a 5th degree Black Belt and a Master Instructor in Olympic Style Taekwondo. She has been a 15-time U.S. National and 6-time International Gold Medalist. Upon invitation, she trained with the 2000 U.S. Olympic Team.


In 2004 she was inducted into the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame, and was acknowledged as the 'International Female Competitor of the Year'. At the Korean Open in 2004 she was also awarded the prestigious 'Hwarang Warrior Award' for 'Female Competitor of the Year'. In 2005 she was again inducted into the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame as 'Instructor of The Year'. Mary Louise is the current U.S. National Gold Medalist in technique and forms in the 18 Years and Older division.

Above and beyond the life-mastery, skill and physical discipline that her martial arts success is a testament to, Mary Louise also currently holds the American Powerlifting Federation's World Record in her age and weight division for the chest press.
